SIP is a technology that can be specified for certain models, and may be suitable for circumstances where above average hygiene requirements are essential, such as within hospitals and other medical environments.

SIP SANITIZES 365 DAYS A YEAR

SIP technology is an additional safeguard against bacterial contamination on addition to standard Ozone sanitisation. It is available on certain models on request; please contact us for more information.

HOW SIP WORKS

SIP is active for 5 minutes every night at 2am (timing can be changed). SIP has been independently laboratory tested (test report available) and is the only EDWCA/EBWA/BWCA approved automatic sanitising system on the market.

SIP uses Ozone, which is naturally occurring “activated oxygen”, to sanitise your Cooler. For 6 minutes every night at 2pm (timing can be changed) SIP converts Oxygen into Ozone and pumps tiny bubbles of Ozone into the Cooler tank, pipes and taps in an all-natural way to purify your drinking water. The very small amount of Ozone used in SIP is totally harmless to humans, but not to bacteria.

SIP SAVES ENERGY TOO

SIP also has an electronic facility which allows the water cooler to go into “sleep” mode enabling the cooler to be automatically switched off at the end of the working day and then automatically switches back on in the morning. We pre- set the timer to suit your needs prior to installation.
